On Thursday 15 November we hosted a wonderful evening of limited edition photographs by highly acclaimed Rock Photographer Bob Gruen, for one night only as part of the ‘Love Oxted’ Christmas Festival.

Due to the success of this, and by popular demand we have extended the exhibition until end of day Saturday 17 November for you to call in to see the selection of photographs of rock legends such as John Lennon, Elvis Presley, Blondie, Sid Vicious and many others, with prices starting from £195 and books from £20. We look forward to welcoming you!

Oxted Christmas Festival 2018 and Rock Musician Photographs

On Thursday 15 November we are hosting a wonderful evening of limited edition photographs of rock music legends by the highly acclaimed Rock Photographer Bob Gruen, it will be an opportunity to buy a Christmas gift for yourself or the rock legend lover in your life to own a much-coveted piece of art.

If rock legends aren’t your scene and classic and supercars are then you’re in for a treat, I’ll be selling limited editions framed photographs from my exhibition ‘A Drive Down Memory Lane’ of some of Ferrari’s finest automobiles amongst other collectables.

The evening is part of the 'Love Oxted' Christmas Festival so come prepared for some festive fun on the High Street.

From 5pm until 8pm for one night only!

The Bull Inn Limpsfield a Fabulous Renovation

In late 2017, when the opportunity to buy Limpsfield's historic village pub The Bull Inn presented itself, a group of entrepreneurial locals set up Enterprising Limpsfield Limited, as a community-driven investment opportunity for locals to create a new business concept and be part of something amazing.   

Fast forward to mid-October 2018 and it looks like the locals have invested wisely - renovation is near completion and the new venture is due to open in November 2018. Something really very special has been created, a wonderful community “pub-hub" to promote local food, drink, innovation and to support other locally-owned small businesses and the community in general. 

I have been working with the project manager to photograph a few key elements before the pub officially opens to introduce their new website. I’m looking forward to continuing to create new visual content as this exciting social environment unfolds over the coming months.

The Investment Boutique Launch

Oxted has a new business in town, we are delighted to welcome The Investment Boutique which proudly sits at number 114 Station Road East, less than a minute walk from the train station and directly opposite the Little Waitrose store and a short walk from SMS Creative Photography.

I have known both Richard Arris and Helena Bakunowicz for the past 8 years having photographed them professionally before.

Between them they have an abundance of expertise, specialising in a discretionary investment management service working with investible assets in excess of £1.5m, aiming to provide positive returns achieved by tailoring each portfolio to the needs of the client. The investment Boutique is a trading name of Raymond James.

The independent practice was set up in November 2017 by Helena with Richard joining her in February 2018. Their new offices were found in April this year, offering the perfect setting to conduct business, with a fast rail link to central London and 6 parking spaces on site making it convenient for all their clients to relax and arrive stress free without feeling hurried.

The duo offer a bespoke and personal service covering different parts of the market. Their clients value their diversity and rightly so, they are both very approachable and ambition individuals with plans to grow their business to incorporate a financial planner and more.

On Friday 28 September I had the pleasure of photographing their launch evening to celebrate their new venture and the extensive refurbishment of the premises previously known as The Therapy Rooms. The launch was attended by clients old and new, friends and family and Cynthia Poole; Director of Relationship Management and Business Support, from Raymond James.

Guests were given a tour of the spacious building and enjoyed delicious canapés and Bollinger, finishing the evening with a group photograph outside the premises and a big thank you from Richard for everyone’s support.

Christmas is Coming - Spoil the Ones You Love

With only 12 weeks to go until Christmas Day now is the time to either book to have your family photographed to give beautiful photographs to loved ones as a gift, or to buy them a gift voucher, so they can redeem it against a fabulous experience in the new year for one of our locations photo-shoots.

Depending on the time of year, they can choose from a variety of different locations, including their own garden if they wish. The places we currently photograph at are — the woodlands during spring time when the bluebells are abundant, a stunning private meadow for a brief period of time during the summer, an exclusive and tranquil vineyard from March to November, or the woodlands during autumn and winter time, to capture the golden light and burnished cooper colours.
