Review Gurkha Kitchen Oxted Tom Parker Bowles

Last Monday I received a phone call from Event Magazine the Mail on Sunday requesting the use of a photograph I took at the Gurkha Kitchen our amazing Nepalese restaurant here in Oxted. They went on to explain that Tom Parker Bowles the restaurant critic had recently visited the restaurant and they were looking for a photograph to accompany his write up in Sunday's magazine, they had seen my photographs on the Gurkha Kitchen's website and chose one best to suit his culinary experience.

Bluebells Surrey

It has been a busy week at SMS Creative Photography, photographing families in the bluebell woods, with another shoot this afternoon.

It's been magical to photograph new families and families I've know over the years.

Bluebells Surrey are renowned for their beauty and intoxicating aroma

I'll post up some of the images in the coming weeks and I'll also be telling you about our new "Illustration Photography" that we are about to launch.

In the meantime this is how the bluebell are looking at Staffhurst Woods here in Oxted, if you get time take a walk or a drive to see them and, to smell them!

SMS Creative Wedding Photography

On Saturday 30th March 2013 I photographed Jon and Emily's wedding at St Andrews Church in Limpsfield Chart with the reception at Chartwell. It was a bright day to start with but sooo soo cold, it wasn't long until we had a few snow showers. This didn't dampen their day though and with over seventy guests to celebrate this occasion we were all in good spirits. I'll post some images up from the wedding once Jon and Emily have seen them on return from their honeymoon in the Maldives.

In the meantime the wedding I photographed on a very, very hot day back in July at Coltsford Mill wedding venue was featured in the Real Wedding section in the April/May issue of Your Surrey Wedding Magazine. We were all sweltering back then. I'm sure you'll agree the photographs reflect the wonderful day they had.
